平日休みになったので、イオン新潟青山店の一階にある佐渡のすし弁慶でランチしました。
新潟でずっと住んでいる方に、行っておいたほうがいい飲食店を聞いたら、
寿司屋の弁慶が鉄板だと教えてくれたので、行くことにしました。
平日の早い時間ですが３組み待ち！やはり人気店ですね。
カウンター席に着くと、廻らない鮨屋さん特有のいい雰囲気と香りが。
Since we had a weekday off, we had lunch at Sado’s Sushi Benkei on the first floor of the EAON Niigata Aoyama Store.
I asked someone who has lived in Niigata for a long time about restaurant we shoud go to,
and he told us that the sushi restaurant Benkei is the best, so I decide to go there.
This is a popular restauran, even though it was early on a weekday but there were already three people waiting!
When we took a seat at a counter, I was greeted with the unique atmosphere and aroma of a non-spinning sushi restaurant.
私たちはランチメニューの日替わり弁慶御膳と佐渡市場ちらしとだし巻き卵を頼みました。
ランチセットはお味噌汁と一品料理とデザートがついてきました。
We ordered the daily special Benkei Gozen, Sado Market Chirashi and Dasimaki Tamago from the lunch menu.
The lunch set came with miso soup, a dish and dessert.
御膳はいろいろな種類のお料理、お寿司や天ぷらなど、がつまっており、お得感満載でした。
お寿司はネタも少し大きめで美味しく、天ぷらはカリカリでジューシーでした。
いろんな種類が少しずつ入っているので、飽きが来ず、弁慶のお味を楽しめました。
Gozen was a great value, included a variety of dishes,such as sushi and tempra.
The sushi was big and delicious, tempra was chrispy and juicy.
We were able to enjoy the taste of Benkei without being at all bored because there were various kinds of dishes in the box.
佐渡市場ちらしはコンパクトなサイズ感の海鮮丼。
いくらやうに、甘エビなど定番のネタで全部本当に美味しかったです。
当たり前ですが、うにが全く磯臭く無い！新鮮な証拠ですね◎
ついてきたワサビは全部つけるとririには辛すぎましたので、辛いもの苦手な方は注意です。
量的に女性でいっぱい食べられない方にちょうどいい量だと思いました。
写せませんでしたがお味噌汁は海老さんが入っていて、さわやかなお味でした。
Sado Market Chirashi is a compact sized bowk of Kaisen don.
I really enjoyed all the standard ingredients such as sarmon roe, sea urchin, and sweet shrimp.
Of course, the sea urchen does not smell rocky at all! It’s proof that it’s fresh.
The wasabi that came with the dish was too spicy for Riri, so be caredul if you don’t like spicy food.
It’s good amount for women that can’t eat a lot.
I couldn’t take a picture of miso soup, but it tasted very refreshing in that it had shrimp in it.
だし巻き卵は大根おろしがついていて、しょうゆをかけて食べました。
熱々で程よい甘さで絶妙な舌触り。
二切れあったので、夫婦で分けやすかったです。
We had dashimaki tamago with daikon oroshi, and ate with soy sause.
It was on point, with just the right amount of sweetness and exquisite texture.
It was easy to share with my husband and me, cause there were two slices.
デザートは小さな水ようかん。甘すぎずお口直しにはちょうどいいです。
The dessert was small Mizu Yokan. It’s not too sweet and good for plate cleanser.
超有名寿司屋、弁慶。
綺麗なお店で、新鮮なお寿司がいただけました。
Very famous sushi restaurant Benkei.
It was a beautiful restaurant and they serve fresh suhi.
