ベビと和田誠展最終日へGoing to the last day of the Makoto Wada Exhibition with Bebi

先日新潟県立万代島美術館で開催されていた和田誠展の最終日に、
赤ちゃん連れで参加してきました！

On the last day of the Makoto Wada exhibition
at the Niigata Bandaijima Art Museum the other day
I attended with my baby!

駐車場は朱鷺メッセの駐車場があり、60分駐車無料でした。

和田誠さんは、イラストレーターやエッセイスト、
映画監督などさまざまな肩書きを持つ有名な方で、
ご存知の方ばかりかもしれませんね。
大阪出身だそう。
2019年にお亡くなりになりました。

Makoto Wada is a well-known person
with various titles such as illustrator,
essayist, and film director, etc.
You may know him.
He was from Osaka, Japan.
He passed away in 2019.

たくさんの作品
Lots of works

万代島美術館には、膨大な数の和田誠さんの作品が飾られていました。

The Bandaijima Art Museum displayed
a vast number of Makoto Wada‘s works.

絵本の挿し絵です。綺麗なヒョウ！
Picture book illustrations. Beautiful leopard!

舞台のポスターです。色使いが落ち着いていて素敵です。
This is a poster for a stage. The coloring is calm and nice.

週刊誌の表紙をずっと描かれていたことで有名ですよね。
You are famous for drawing weekly magazine covers all the time.

ロゴも考えられていたそう。魅力的なロゴです。
They also had a logo in mind. It is an attractive logo.

イラストはどれも鮮やかで、ベビはとても楽しんでいたようでした(^^)

All the illustrations were vivid
and Bebi seemed to enjoy them very much.

新潟県立万代島美術館の授乳室
Nursing room at Niigata Bandaijima Art Museum

美術館の受付の方に頼むと、
展示室の横にある授乳室を貸していただけました！
おむつ替えもできます！

I asked the museum receptionist
and she let me use the nursing room next to the exhibit!
You could even change a diaper!

室内にはソファ、ゴミ箱、水回り、柵付きのベッドがありました。
ベビーカーが入るのに十分な広さで、とても綺麗でした◎
扉を閉めると、赤ちゃんがぐずっても、
外に聞こえにくくなっているようで、
安心しておむつ替えが出来ましたよ。

The room had a sofa, a trash can,
a water closet, and a bed with a fence.
It was wide enough to fit a stroller and was very clean.
When the door was closed,
even if the baby was fidgeting,
the noise seemed to be less audible to the outside,
so I could change the diaper with peace of mind.
