新潟県立万代島美術館の庵野秀明展へベビと行ってきた!
Took Baby to the Hideaki Anno exhibition at the Niigata Bandaijima Art Museum!

先日旦那さんとベビと、
新潟県立万代島美術館で催されている庵野秀明展へ行ってきました。

The other day, my husband, baby and I
went to an exhibition of Hideaki Anno
at the Niigata Bandaijima Art Museum.

庵野秀明さんについてはあまり詳しくなく、かろうじてエヴァを知っているくらい!
楽しめるかな?とちょっと不安でした。
しかし行ってみて、帰りに「面白かった!」と思えました(^^)
なので、展示物を紹介したいと思います。

I don’t know much about Hideaki Anno, barely even know Eva!
Would I enjoy it? I was a little worried.
But after I went, I thought, “That was fun!
I was able to enjoy it on my way back home.
So I would like to introduce some of the exhibits.

About Hideaki Anno

庵野 秀明は、日本のアニメーター、映画監督、実業家。
出生地は山口県宇部市。
1960年5月22日生まれ。
子どもの頃から絵を描くことが好きで、高校時代に映画の自主制作を始める。
上京後、「風の谷のナウシカ」や「火垂るの墓」といったスタジオジブリ作品に携わる。

TVアニメ「ふしぎの海のナディア」を経て手がけた「新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」は、社会現象を巻き起こした。

国内で製作されたゴジラ映画「シン・ゴジラ」で総監督を務め、同作も興行収入82.5億円の大ヒットを記録したほか、第40回日本アカデミー賞で最優秀作品賞、最優秀監督賞を受賞する。

Hideaki Anno is a Japanese animator, film director, and businessman.
His place of birth is Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
He was born on May 22, 1960.
He has loved drawing pictures since childhood
and started making movies independently when he was in high school.
After moving to Tokyo,
he worked on Studio Ghibli films
such as “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind”
and “Grave of the Fireflies.

After working on the TV animation “Nadia of the Mysterious Sea,”
he worked on “Neon Genesis Evangelion,”
which became a social phenomenon.

He was the general director of the domestically produced Godzilla movie
“Shin Godzilla,” which was also a box-office hit,
grossing 8.25 billion yen,
and won the Best Picture
and Best Director awards
at the 40th Japan Academy Awards.

庵野秀明さんが小さい頃楽しんでいた、ウルトラマンです。
幼少期の漫画やアニメが彼の土台を形造ったようです。
今回、昔のアニメ漫画の展示がとても豊富でした。

This is the Ultraman that Hideaki Anno enjoyed as a child.
It seems that the cartoons and animations
of his childhood formed the foundation of his life.
This time, there was a great variety of
old anime cartoons on display.

庵野さんが少年の頃書いた油絵。
とても上手ですね。

An oil painting that Anno-san drew when he was a boy.
He is very good at it.

庵野さんが監督されたシン・ゴジラに出てくるゴジラです。
作中で形態が変わっていく様子です。

This is Godzilla in Shin Godzilla directed by Anno-san.
The form of Godzilla changes throughout the film.

新世紀エヴァンゲリオンの登場人物「綾波レイ」です。
とても人気のキャラクターです。

This is “Ayanami Rei”, a character from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
She is a very popular character.

最後に、サインが飾ってありました。

ベビーカーで行きやすい新潟の美術館です
An art museum in Niigata that is easy to visit with a stroller.

新潟県立万代島美術館は、毎回思いますが、ベビーカーでとても展示を見やすくなっています。
通路も広いですし、おむつ替えやミルクをあげるのも安心してできます
駐車場から美術館へ行くのにも、何も抵抗はありません。
スイスイ行けてしまいます。
しかも、とても綺麗です。
赤ちゃん連れで行きやすい新潟のおすすめの美術館です。

Every time I visit the Niigata Bandaijima Art Museum,
I find that it is very easy to view the exhibits with a stroller.
The aisles are wide, and it is comfortable to change diapers and feed milk.
There is no difficulty in getting to the museum from the parking lot.
It is very easy to get there.
Moreover, it is very clean.
This is a recommended museum in Niigata
that is easy to visit with babies.

Befcoばかうけ展望台
Befco Bakauke Observatory

新潟県立万代島美術館がある朱鷺メッセというとても有名なビル。
その中に展望台があります。
Befcoばかうけ展望台です。
ばかうけという新潟の企業が作っている米菓の名前がついています。
31階にあり、カフェもあります。
美術館へ行った後、そこに行ってきました。

Toki Messe is a very famous building
where the Niigata Bandaijima Art Museum is located.
There is an observatory in the building.
It is the Befco Bakauke Observation Deck.
It is named after a rice snack made by a Niigata company
called “Bakauke”.
It is located on the 31st floor and has a cafe.
I went there after visiting the museum.

展望台からの眺め。
日本海側随一の高さらしいです。
360度見渡せるようになっており、絶景でした!

港も見渡せます。
大きな船がこんなにも小さく見えます!

You can also see the harbor.
The big ship looks so small!

ベビは高いところにいるのがわかっていたでしょうか?
泣かずに景色を楽しんでいたようなので、何よりでした。
新潟の景色を見渡すなら、Befcoばかうけ展望台へ!
入場無料でした!
