Let’s enter the store
The store is a row house.
You walk in, and you’re greeted by a plethora of liquors, including some well-known local brews!
There was even a wine room!
ririと旦那さんはお酒が飲めないのですが、
好きな方にはたまらないだろうなぁと言う感じでした。
I and my husband don’t drink alcohol.
But I felt that those who like to drink would love it.
I bought a bottle of shochu called Yukiotoko for my grandmother.
This authentic shochu is brewed
by Fukuoka Prefecture’s Nishiyoshida Shuzo,
which has its roots in kasutori shochu,
a type of shochu made from sake lees of ginjo sake
made from 100% Niigata Prefecture’s “Koshitanrei” sake rice.

On the way back from the Jyonnobikan,
we found a local sake brewery, Hasegawa-ya!
My husband suggested that I buy some sake as a gift
for my grandmother who is watching my baby.
I was so thankful to have such a thoughtful and kind husband.
