弥彦公園に行って紅葉を楽しみながらお散歩「もみじ谷で紅葉狩り」 Go to Yahiko Park to enjoy the autumn leaves and take a walk.

新潟も木々が色づいてきたので、紅葉狩りをしに、
紅葉がきれいなことで有名な弥彦公園に行ってきました！
riri達は弥彦公園に行くのは初めてです。
新潟ではとても有名なスポットなので、
一回は行ってみたかったのです。

The trees are changing color in Niigata,
so I went to Yahiko Park,
famous for its beautiful autumn leaves.
It was our first time to visit Yahiko Park.
Yahiko Park is a very famous spot in Niigata.
So I wanted to visit it at least once.

弥彦公園は、新潟県西蒲原郡弥彦村にある、
約4万坪にも及ぶ広さを誇る公園。
「もみじ谷」は紅葉の名所として知られています。
紅葉シーズンは10月下旬から11月中旬。
春は桜の名所でもあり、
約1000本もの桜が咲き誇ります。
夏の初めには蛍も鑑賞することができます。

Yahiko Park is located in Yahiko-mura, Nishikanbara-gun,
Niigata Prefecture,
and boasts an area of about 40,000 tsubo.
“Momiji Valley” is known for its beautiful autumn leaves.
The autumn foliage season is from late October to mid-November.
In spring, the area is famous for its cherry blossoms,
with about 1,000 trees in full bloom.
In the beginning of summer, fireflies can be seen here.

今は紅葉が終わるころまで、
ライトアップが行われています。
17時から21時30分までです。
The autumn leaves have benn lit up,
from now until the end of the leaves.
5:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

交通アクセスは、
JR弥彦線「弥彦駅」より徒歩で1分。
北陸自動車道「三条燕IC」より車で25分。
駐車場2000台。

Traffic access is
1 minute walk from Yahiko Station on the JR Yahiko Line.
25 minutes by car from Sanjo-Tsubame IC on the Hokuriku Expressway.
Parking lot for 2,000 cars.

まず、riri達は10月下旬の休日に車で行ったのですが、
お昼には駐車場がほぼ埋まっていました。
車で行く方はお気を付けください。
やはり人気スポットですね。

First of all, we drove there on a holiday in late October.
By noon, the parking lot was almost full.
Be careful, if you are driving.
It’s a popular spot.

散策してみましょう。

公園について歩き始めると小さなトンネルが！
トンネルの向こうに紅葉が見えます。
トンネルはとてもきれいな印象で、
紅葉と相まってトンネルをくぐるのに
テンションが上がりました。

When we got to the park and started walking, we found a small tunnel.
The autumn leaves can be seen beyond the tunnel.
The tunnel looks very clean.
We were excited to go through the tunnel
because of the beautiful autumn leaves.

その先には赤い橋と紅葉の
なんとも綺麗なコラボレーション。
この和な感じを楽しむことができること、
日本人でよかったと思います。
とても美しいです。

At the end of the path,
there was a red bridge and the autumn leaves.
What a beautiful collaboration.
I was able to enjoy the Japanese atmosphere.
I’m glad to be Japanese.
It’s so beautiful.

もっと歩くと、大きな東屋が。
ここでお弁当をいただいてもいいですね。
東屋のあたりは静かで人も少なめでした。

We walked further and found a large pavilion.
You can also have your lunch here.
The area around the pavilion was quiet and less crowded.

東屋の近くに、なんと、
第36代横綱の羽黒山政司の碑が。
羽黒山は新潟県新潟市西蒲区出身なんだそう。

Near the pavilion,
there is a monument to the 36th yokozuna
(sumo grand champion), Masaji Haguroyama.
Hagurosan is from Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture.

さすが、人気紅葉スポットの弥彦公園。
紅葉が本当に美しく、満喫できます。
手入れも丁寧にされていて、
パーフェクトな紅葉狩りができました◎
やはり観光客がたくさん押し寄せていました。
公園の周りには出店やカフェなどがたくさんあり、
紅葉以外の観光も楽しめます。
美味しいものばかりですよ。
新潟の最高な紅葉スポットです！
As expected, Yahiko Park is a popular spot for viewing autumn leaves.
The autumn leaves are really beautiful and you can fully enjoy them.
It’s been very well taken care of,
so we had a perfect fall foliage viewing experience!
After all, there were a lot of tourists crowding around.
There are many stores and cafes around the park.
You can also enjoy sightseeing other than the autumn leaves.
It’s all very tasty.
