先日ririは午前中に新潟のお街、万代シティで用事がありました。
ベビを連れての用事でした。
なのでベビと万代のレストランでランチをすることにしました。

The other day I spent the afternoon in Bandai City,
Niigata’s city center, running an errand.
It was an errand with a baby.
So Baby and I decided to have lunch at Bandai restaurant.

お店はビルボードプレイスのFARM TABLE SUZUさんに決めました(^^)
前もって電話で伺うと、赤ちゃん連れでもOKなお店とのこと！
予約をして、個室を用意していただきました。

We decided on FARM TABLE SUZU at Billboard Place (^^)
I called ahead of time
and they said it was a restaurant where you can bring your baby!
We made a reservation and were given a private room.

行くときに注意すること
Be Careful When You Go

• ファームテーブルスズさんに行く時に注意することがあります！
  スズさんに向かう時ririはベビーカーで向かいました。
  ビルに着き2階に登ろうとしました。
  しかし、エレベーターが無いのです…！
  おっちょこちょいなririなので見逃しているはず。
  と思って探せども探せどもない。
  電話して聞いてみると、
  スズさんに行く時、エレベーターを使いたい時。
  スズさんに直接電話すると
  従業員用エレベーターを使うことができるようでした！
• A note of caution when you go to Farm Table Suzu!
  We were heading to Suzu’s with our stroller.
  We arrived at the building and tried to go up to the second floor.
  But there was no elevator…!
  I thought I must have missed it, because I am a naughty person.
  So I looked and looked, but there was no elevator.
  I call them and ask them.
  It seemed that if you wanted to use the elevator to get to Suzu,
  you could call them directly
  and they would let you use their employee elevator!

• エレベーターを使いたい時は店員さんに一声かけましょう！

入店、そしてメニュー選び
Entering the store and choosing a menu

スズさんに入店すると、ベビーカーを預かってくださいました。
そして大きな個室に案内していただきました！
個室の中でおむつ交換もしていいそうで、
ミルクもゆっくりあげられて、安心でした◎

When we entered Suzu, they took care of our stroller.
Then they showed us to a large private room!
I heard that you can change diapers in the private room.
I was able to feed my baby at ease.

何を食べようかな…。
FARM TABLE プレート2500円だと色々な食材が食べられるし、
にいがた和牛の特製ステーキ2500円は大好きな美味しそうなお肉ががっつりいただける。
セットメニューのバーニャカウダも新鮮なお野菜が食べられていいなぁ。
食いしん坊のririは空腹で、たくさんのメニューから選ぶのに10分かかりました笑

What shall I eat…?
The FARM TABLE Plate 2500 yen offers a variety of foods,
and the Niigata Wagyu Beef Steak 2,500 yen
is a great way to enjoy my favorite tasty meat.
The bagna cauda, a set menu item,
is also a great way to enjoy fresh vegetables.
I was so hungry that it took me 10 minutes
to choose from the many dishes on the menu lol

迷いに迷って、ririは新潟トンテキグリルを注文。

After much hesitation, I ordered the Niigata Tonteki Grill.

ちなみに、新潟って1世帯あたり(2人以上)の豚肉の購入量が全国1位なんですよね。
ririは新潟に来て、スーパーで買える豚肉の美味しさに衝撃を受けましたよ。
豚こまなのにこんなに美味しいの！！と(^^)

By the way, Niigata ranks first in the nation
in the amount of pork purchased per household (two or more people).
When I first came to Niigata,
I was shocked at how good the pork available
at the supermarket tasted.
It’s just a piece of pork,
but it tastes so good! I thought,
“I can’t believe how good it tastes!

いざ、実食
Let’s eat

まず、野菜が運ばれてきました。
この新鮮な野菜がとても美味しいんです！
味噌と蜂蜜の混ざったものにつけて食べるのですが、
味噌と蜂蜜もとても美味しく、野菜の美味しさが際立ちます！！

First, the vegetables were brought to us.
These fresh veggies are so good!
They are dipped in a mixture of miso and honey.
The miso and honey are so good,
they really bring out the best in the veggies!

トンテキグリルがきました。
冷奴と、味噌汁と、お新香もついていましたよ。
これらはトンテキを支える脇役ですが、
全部ちゃんと美味しかった。
トンテキは、お肉の脂感が強く、味も濃く、
がっつり食べたい方にはぴったり！
もちろん豚肉の美味しさはピカイチ。
濃い豚肉のお味はたまりませんでした。
濃いめの味付けのソースがキャベツの千切りや冷奴とマッチ。
歯応えもあり、全部食べ終わると、
「食べたーーー！」という達成感がありました。

Tonteki Grill came.
It also came with chilled tofu, miso soup, and oshinko.
These are the supporting cast to the tonteki,
but All of them were properly tasty.
Tonteki has a strong fatty taste and rich flavor.
perfect for those who want to eat with gusto!
Of course, the pork is the best.
The rich pork flavor was irresistible.
The thickly seasoned sauce matches the shredded cabbage and cold tofu.
It’s chewy, too, and when you’re done eating it all, you’ll be like.
I felt a sense of accomplishment.
